GreenSchoolToolbox is a community-built site. We think of it a shared toolbox where the extended Green Schools community can gather and organize its best information about greening our schools.
Membership in GreenSchoolToolbox is currently by invitation only (request invitation), but once invited, members are given lots of freedom to contribute. Any member can edit almost every card on the site. A few special cards are restricted to editing by proven community members we call Site Keepers (you can look at the Site Keeper card to learn more about that role). Even on many of those restricted cards we invite comments from our members.
Still, we think of our community as extending well beyond our members. We want to make all the information on the site available as an open public resource. Therefore we are licensing all of the data on our site produced by the GreenSchoolToolbox community under a Creative Commons Attributions Noncommercial license. This means anyone can use the information on the site for any noncommercial purpose (ie, they can't sell it without our permission) so long as they attribute the work to GreenSchoolToolbox.com.
Also, we welcome anyone, including unregistered users, to take part in Discussion about the site.
